Janet Napolitano's Warped Vision for America:
Up With Illegal Aliens, Down With Vets!
By John W. Lillpop
How in the world did this great nation deteriorate so rapidly and so profoundly?
What insanity inspired We the People to install a leftist regime that would, in
less than 100 days, declare war on veterans, opponents of illegal immigration,
abortion, higher taxes and spending, and other "right wing extremists," while
deciding that those who enter the U.S. illegally are NOT committing a crime?
Why would any president with even minimal concern for the
security of American citizens appoint someone like Janet Napolitano to head the
Department of Homeland Security Secretary (DHS)?
In a land of over 300 million, surely President Obama could have found a more
qualified, talented professional to manage DHS, particularly during time of war
and given the fact that our third-world neighbor Mexico is becoming more and
more of a failed state, a situation that could spill over into America even more
profoundly, bringing with it grave carnage and chaos.
Napolitano's forgettable tenure made headlines recently when a DHS report,
titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling
Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, states that
"threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009
have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent
acts."

Her aggravated assault on the American way of life plowed full speed ahead when
Napolitano denied that those who have invaded America are guilty of a crime.
As reported, in part, at the Heritage Foundation:
http://blog.heritage.org/2009/04/20/napolitano-illegal-immigration-not-a-crime/
"On Sunday, April 19, 2009, Secretary Napolitano went on CNN’s “State of the
Union” and proclaimed that crossing the border illegally is not a crime. This
statement left a lot of folks scratching their heads given that U.S. law—the law
Napolitano is sworn to uphold—says quite the opposite. Section 8, Title 1325 of
the U.S. code clearly states that those who enter the U.S. illegally are
committing a crime.
"This ‘interpretation’ of the law by Secretary Napolitano seems to be the latest
in an effort by the Obama Administration to scale back interior immigration
enforcement efforts in the United States. As recently as March 28th, Napolitano
made the decision to delay a series of immigration raids and other workplace
actions aimed at finding illegal workers.
"At the same time, both President Obama and Secretary Napolitano have announced
new initiatives intending to send the message that they take the issues at the
southern border seriously. But the Administration cannot fight cartels while
ignoring illegal immigration—people smuggling is part of the problem, not a
separate issue. Legalization will only make matters worse.
"Granting the people here illegally asylum will only encourage more illegal
border crossing. Likewise, failing to enforce workplace and immigration laws
will only encourage more to ignore the law."
Despite her anti-American record so far, not everyone is distressed by
Napolitano's ascension to the Right Hand of Power.
Many enlightened residents of Arizona, for example, are grateful for the fact
that Napolitano is no longer able to muck up their state directly from the
governor's mansion in Phoenix!
