"All that is necessary for the triumph of
evil
is that good men do nothing."

"People crushed by law, have no hopes but
from power.
If laws are their enemies, they will be enemies to laws;
and those who have much to hope and nothing to lose,
will always be dangerous."

"The Minuteman" statue, Concord, Massachusetts.
The minutemen were selected first responders in the militia who could arrive
"in a minute" to face an emergency. When British Regular troops marched to
seize rebel weapons and ammunition supplies at Concord on April 19, 1775,
they were stopped and chased back to Boston with heavy casualties by these
minutemen who fired "The Shot Heard 'Round The World".

Burke (1729-01-12 – 1797-07-09).
He was an Irish political philosopher, Whig politician, and statesman;
he is regarded by many as the "father" of modern conservatism.
