BOWIE, Md. - About three dozen people were treated for illness during a rally featuring President Barack Obama at Bowie State University.

Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady tells WTOP numerous ambulances were sent to the rally after people started fainting and became dizzy.

Two people were taken to the hospital, Brady says. The rest were treated at the scene. A triage area was set up inside the gymnasium at Bowie State. No fatalities were reported.

Hospital officials confirmed that two persons were admitted but declined to comment on possible brain damage since both patients were democrats.
