Obama wants DNA samples from everyone arrested

Not charged, not convicted, just arrested.

Of course anyone could be arrested for anything at anytime and held for 24 hours then simply released. Theoretically, they could systematically roll through the whole population doing that. Go read the article.

"You have nothing to hide" you say. Come on man, get paranoid. Think conspiracy. Haven't you ever watched a movie? What about when they randomly pick your DNA to counterfeit and plant at the scene of a big-time major crime? Never Happen? You're really naive, aren't you?

There are many, many innocent men in prisons today serving long sentences because the prosecutors wanted to maintain their high "win rate" and just ran over the weak defense counsel or used their prosecution contacts to suppress exculpatory evidence that would have cleared the defendant.

If you want to read an example of a straight arrow American hero who was shafted by prosecutors looking for a "win", go read about Ranger 1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna. And if you don't make a substantial donation to his defense fund, go out and tear that stupid "we support our troops" sticker off of your vehicle, because you're a f**king hypocrite. 

Back to the DNA - sure, why not. It's current technology; tattooed serial numbers on the forearm worked fine for Hitler. Maybe in the near future each baby will have a little ID chip injected in the back of the neck like the SPCA does to cats and dogs when you adopt them from the pound. I have a flat paper sticker on my windshield behind my rearview mirror. Imbedded somewhere in that flat piece of paper is a tiny ID transceiver chip which uniquely identifies my vehicle. Whenever I travel anywhere on a Texas toll road the overhead sensors query my chip, know who I am, where I am, where I'm going, and charge my account for the privilege of being on their road.

Could someone counterfeit that windshield sticker to become "me" and get a free ride at my expense? Yes. Could someone counterfeit that ID chip in the back of the neck to become "me" and commit crimes with impunity, allowing me to be convicted for the crimes? Yes. I'm a retired intelligence officer and a retired computer programmer. I've got PTSD and some paranoia, my favorite reading is spy and suspense novels.

You already know that the government, federal, state and local, lies, cheats and steals. What makes you think that they won't frame your butt if it gives them some kind of advantage or benefit?
