UN mulls internet regulation options
| This has been a busy week in a lot of places, including my own
little life, so I haven't had enough time to read and post
interesting stuff. First thing to irritate me today was a fascinating article about the ever-popular UN, where flaming assholes from 3rd world cesspools gather to lecture the US about how we should distribute our wealth to those too lazy to earn their own. Last I heard, there was a race between the UN and the US government to trash our 2nd Amendment right to own weapons. Now the same two organizations are racing to control the internet. (That would be our 1st Amendment freedom of speech.) TSA has done a job on the 4th Amendment illegal search and seizure. Read this article and the comments it gathered. A lot of people are NOT happy. I am among them. Several people mention the John Birch Society. I remember them back in the late 50s - 60s, they were pretty far right, somewhere in Joe McCarthy's neighborhood as I recall. One commenter said they HATE the UN. I just may join them. I'm having a difficult time adjusting to the change. Forty years ago I was being paid to kill communists, and now I'm being ruled by them. I learned in elementary school that we have "universal suffrage" in the US. The teacher explained that the term meant that everyone could vote. She didn't explain the part about all of us suffering because of so many morons voting for a fucking communist. He's determined to see us under the control of the UN's "One World Government".
