National Ammo Day:
I had not heard of this event ahead of time. Just came across it
last night while surfing a few favorite links. If I had been
forewarned, I would have waited, but I just placed an order on 11/17
for 2,000 rounds of .22 mini-mag for my "miniature M-4" (S&W
MP15-22) and 1,000 rounds of FMJ target ammo for my 9 mm pistols. (Glocks and a Taurus "M-9"). I have plenty of these calibers and others in my War Readiness Supplies, but I don't like to tap into those packs until "the balloon goes up". Old habits stay with you. As Uncle Buck, the intrepid F4E Phantom II aviator and ops officer would have said "cain't never have too much ammo, 'less yer house is on fahr."
