Doctors sound TSA germ alert

Dangers include syphilis, lice, viruses, ringworm

My Father-in-Law has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks being treated for several problems that had to combine to knock down the tough old man. While visiting him, I've watched the medical professionals, - doctors, nurses, technicians all observe the same ritual. They enter the room and go directly to the glove rack, pull out a pair of the proper size from a box, don them and then approach the patient.

When they're done treating the patient, the gloves come off and go in the trash can. They pause at the door to wash their hands and forearms at the chemical sanitizer dispenser. Now they can proceed to see another patient without risk of transferring any infection on their hands.

Keep this procedure in mind as you read about the TSA method in this article by Bob Unruh.
